Craig Long - Crossroads of Rockland History

Tune in to the next Crossroads of Rockland History on

Monday, January 18, 9:30am on WRCR Radio (1700AM )

Rockland County Historian Craig Long will stop by to share what he's been working on recently. We’ll discuss the Smith House, the Ramapo Pass, some new historical markers, and how all of this may fit in perfectly with the upcoming 250th anniversary of our nation's founding, otherwise known as the U.S. Semiquincentennial. The planning for this commemoration has already begun, even though it will take place in 2026!

This episode of Crossroads of Rockland History has been made possible by a generous contribution from the Town of Ramapo. The HSRC is grateful for their support of our efforts to share local history with the people of Rockland County.
